What you need

bunch oregano
fl oz oil

oz mozzarella cheese

tsp salt

tsp garlic powder

pepper

bacon

fl oz butter

buttermilk biscuits

egg
Instructions
Preheat oven according to instructions on the biscuit container or to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a separate bowl, prepare the butter sauce by mixing melted butter, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper to taste. Roll each biscuit dough flat with a rolling pin. Brush half of each flattened biscuit slightly with the prepared butter sauce. Then, add a spoonful of pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, scrambled eggs, and broken fried bacon (or any protein of choice) onto the butter-sauced half. Fold the other half of the biscuit dough over the filling and use a fork to seal the edges securely. Add 2-3 scores to the top of the dough, depending on the size of the calzone. Repeat this process for all biscuits. Brush or spray a cookie sheet with oil, then carefully place the prepared calzones onto the baking sheet. Brush the tops of the calzones with additional melted butter. Sprinkle bagel seasoning on top as desired. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.View original recipe
